The Grand Trunk was founded by Komal Sodhi Anand in 2005. Komal is credited to produce and choreographed the first Sabyasachi Fashion show in US in 2004 at Miami Fashion Week. In 2006, The Grand Trunk and Sabyasachi hosted the first and only Trunk show along with designers Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Shantanu & Nikhil at Atherton, CA.
